Infiniti, Nissan’s premium car brand, is preparing a new version of its mid-size crossover QX50, 2018 Infiniti QX50 SUV, and our spy photographers have broken the next test of their rival BMW X3 in the United States before its release in 2018 .

The car in the photos is disguised with a liberally applied black wrapping, but it does not mask the new shape, heavily influenced by the QX50 concept. The concept car debuted earlier this year in Detroit, and the final production model seems likely to take on many of its design cues with little or no change.

The new design language used in the generation of QX50 is before a large door with a large plate is flanked by narrow headlights with LED lighting signatures. A muscular front bumper with large air intakes appears to sit underneath.

Looking at the QX50 side, the line of car windows rises towards the rear, while the roof line descends gently. A small roof spoiler, horizontal taillights and two exhaust pipes cast a glance at the full rear bumper so it should look sportier than the Infiniti crossover.

In the booth, we expect QX50 production to stick close to the goal and Technology in advance in the concept, which features a minimalist design edge table and digital instruments.

While the design of the QX50 can stick to proven brand methods, big changes must come under the hood. The QX50 concept unveiled in Detroit was used to preview the brand’s new turbocharged gasoline engine with variable compression – a reduced 2.0-liter gasoline engine that will replace the old 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine currently used in The full range of the brand.

The Infiniti QX50 will be the first to receive the new engine, which could also pave the way for a four-wheel drive system before four-wheel drive to replace the rear-wheel drive options and the four-wheel drive in the current model . As envisaged in the concept, it should also present the new technology of semi-autonomous driving as well.
